Cover of the month: V.Soul sings « Scars To Your Beautiful » of Alessia Cara

A few weeks ago, I run the first Sweet Madness contest. It was on Instagram only and open to all musical artists worldwide (if you’d like to have more details about it, click >here<)

And I’m happy to introduce you to the winner of this contest: Kevica aka V.Soul! You can listen her cover of Alessia Cara below.

Who’s V.Soul?

Kevica A. Towns is an american singer from Detroit, Michigan. She’s born on 11th January 1993. She’s of African-American descent.

She grew up around gospel music and naturally turned to Music while growing up. Kevica took part at several talent shows, musicals and choirs.

I didn’t choose Music, Music chose me and my passion just enhanced the art

Her debut in the music industry

Less than a year ago, Kevica begun to explore other music genre than gospel. It allowed her to find her own style that she defines as Neo-Soul with an Old School feeling.

She took the stage name of V.Soul and is progressively making a name for herself in the industry.

V.Soul has a very unique timber of voice, deep but which can show softness too. This young lady is passionate and willing to create art, and I appreciate that.

There is still a long way to go, but I do believe she can make it in the music industry as long as she is passionate, loves what she does and works hard for it.

And that applies to you too, guys! 🙂

Let’s show her some love and support! You can find V.Soul’s music on SoundCloud, iTunes and Spotify. She’s also on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

What do you think about V.Soul? Leave a comment to share your opinion!

  • I think V soul is a extremely seasoned vocalist..
I missed her last performance, but since the first time I heard her I knew she wasn't to be taken for a rookie..
She's very characteristic and plays shy ,but not for a second is she shy one note

    • Thank you for your comment, Dre! I haven't had the chance to see her perform live but hopefully, there are social media and platforms such as YouTube :-)
