Tori Kelly: Inspired by true events

End of July, I have been invited to attend Tori Kelly’s intimate show at Islington assembly and her album playback the day after, in a private venue in Central London.

I was mostly there to take photos and make videos of both events, and to film an interview of the artist. You can see the interview filmed by yours truly (b roll included) below — video edited & published by Max A.

Tori was lovely, open and sweet. I really had a good time with her and her team. And her new album, Inspired by True Events, is a gem. My ultimate favourite song of the album is called Coffee and talks about long distance relationship. In Your Words and Before The Dawn are two other songs I like.

James Arthur — Back From The Edge tour

On June 1st, I went to James Arthur’s concert at AB in Brussels. I’m a bit ashamed to say this but it was the first gig I attended this year… I’m a busy bee and I’d love to go to concerts more often. Anyway! That’s not the point of this post! Here’s my review from […]

Darren Hayes: when music is nothing but art

Those who know me know that I’m a huge fan of Darren Hayes. Darren is known as the singer and songwriter of the Aussie duo Savage Garden who met a massive success worldwide in the 90s and early 2000s. I Want You, To The Moon and Back, Truly Madly Deeply, Affirmation, I Knew I Loved […]

Usher made his way to the top

We can say that Usher is a sort of music veteran. He started his career in the 90’s and his self-titled debut album were released in 1994! And since then, he maintained consistency throughout his career — and that’s an achievement in itself! Usher became a reference mostly in R&B and is an inspiration for […]

Craig David followed his intuition & got it right

Fill Me In, 7 Days, Walking Away, Rendezvous, What’s Your Flava?, Hidden Agenda, Rise & Fall ft. Sting, Spanish, All The Way, Don’t Love […]

James Arthur, a shooting star?

People who know me and follow me for a while know that I like James Arthur. I think he’s a brilliant artist. I discovered James with his self-titled debut album. I couldn’t follow his journey live on XFactor. But thanks to Internet & YouTube, I could stay up-to-date. His music, his voice, his natural way […]

The many faces of Christina Aguilera

I’d like to talk about Christina Aguilera who is an artist I truly appreciate. Even if she is discreet for a while, she’s still active & new music should be released soon (I hope so…). Despite the success of her first album, I cannot say I was fan at the time. Maybe because of the […]
